Warren Forest Higher Education Council

Feb 28, 2013

The Warren Forest Higher Education Council is more than a building; it’s where futures begin.

Every day, we open doors for people in Warren and Forest Counties to take the next step in their lives. Whether it’s a high school student exploring career options, an adult returning to finish their education, or someone learning a new skill to change their future, Hi-Ed makes those opportunities possible right here at home.

We bring together colleges, career training programs, and hands-on learning experiences so our community doesn’t have to leave to move forward. From workforce certifications to personal enrichment, we meet people where they are and help them get where they want to go.

But one of the most powerful things we do happens before adulthood even begins.

Our School-to-Work Program is changing the trajectory of local students. Through real-world experiences, college and career fairs, financial aid support, business tours, and hands-on career exploration, students don’t just hear about opportunities; they see them, experience them, and start to believe in them.

For many of these students, this program is the moment things “click.”

It’s when a future stops feeling uncertain and starts feeling possible.

And that’s where you come in.

Your donation through Warren Gives directly supports these life-changing experiences. It helps us provide transportation so students can explore careers beyond their neighborhood. It brings in professionals who open students’ eyes to new possibilities. It ensures that every student, regardless of background, has access to the same opportunities to succeed.

This isn’t just a program.

It’s a launch point.

When you give to Hi-Ed, you’re not just supporting education, you’re investing in the future workforce, families, and leadership of our community.

Give today, and be part of the moment a student realizes: “I can do this.”
