Mission:
To be a community resource for those requiring ongoing grocery augmentation assistance, with the goal of reducing levels of food insecurity.
Critical Needs/Projects:
Large upright freezer to hold frozen food for our clients.
Replace carpeted flooring with Pergo like laminate or tile.
Have funds available to purchase basic needs for our Neighbors facing food insecurity.
2nd STREET FOOD PANTRY HOURS:
- MONDAYS – CLOSED
- TUESDAYS – 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- WEDNESDAYS THRU FRIDAYS – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
- FOURTH SATURDAY OF THE MONTH – 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
NOTICE TO FOOD PANTRY PARTICIPANTS:
The Food Pantry bag that was provided to you is what will be permitted. Please do not bring other bags to fill. We allow two visits each month – plus the Fourth Saturday of the month. Please remember there are other needy people in our area and we would like to help all of them. Please take what you need, one item per family. Make sure the Food Pantry Coordinator records your visit. These statistics are needed for the State.
No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be permitted in the pantry. We will have to ask those individuals to leave and return at another time. No fighting will be permitted. Rules apply to everyone, no exceptions.
Please remember, if you live in a different area, you are asked to go to their pantry. 2nd Street Food Pantry is for the Brokenstraw area residents. If you need help locating your pantry, please let us know, we will assist you.
