Our Mission: The preservation and protection of life and property from and during such fires and other emergencies as may occur in Pine Grove Township and surrounding areas.

Current Projects/Needs: The Russell VFD owns, operates, and maintains Werner Park located at 6051 Market Street. This park is maintained by all volunteer staff. The members are very proud of the park and it is visited by people from all over Warren County. The park is in need of replacing playground equipment that was donated to the park from Warren County School District. This equipment is close to fifty years old. The playground equipment is always in use when families are using the park for sporting events, family picnics, and general events. Russell VFD thanks you for the support that helps to operate this wonderful recreation facility.
