Mission: Founded in 1968, Experience, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving older adults as the Area Agency on Aging of Warren and Forest Counties. Experience, Inc.’s primary focus is to advocate for and meet the needs of older people in order to help them age and live well.
Experience, Inc offers the following community support through its services, programs, and community senior centers:
*Home Delivered Meals & Community Center Meals
- Investigating reports of abuse, neglect & financial exploitation
- Health and Wellness Programs
- In-Home Care and Care Management
- Medicare Counseling & Property Tax/Rent Rebate Assistance
Current Projects/Needs:
1. Sponsor a Senior for Meals – We served over 54,000 meals to older adults in 2024. This was a 10% increase from 2023. We project another increase of around 13% for 2025 as the number of older adults increases and prices continue to rise for food and utilities. These seniors live on fixed incomes. Since 2014, Area Agencies on Aging have only seen a 2.5% increase in funding, the number of older adults in our County has increased 14% and will continue to rise through 2030. Through your donation we can continue to help feed area seniors in need and avoid creating waiting lists for nutrition services like Meals on Wheels.
