New Hope Assistance Dogs, Inc. has been making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with impairments for over two decades. We are a charitable, 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to enabling dogs to enhance the lives of individuals with impairments and to educate the general public. From children to adults, we are committed to helping those with health conditions and learning disabilities through our program “4 Paws to a New Hope”.

We also recognize the importance of supporting Veterans in leading independent lives. Through our dedicated Veteran Division, we offer a supportive community where Veterans can interact, share experiences, and receive tips on how to benefit from having an Assistance Dog. With the support of our Veteran group and generous donations, we aim to provide more dogs to Veterans struggling with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and other challenges. These dogs not only help with physical tasks but also contribute to emotional healing and well-being, allowing Veterans to reconnect with loved ones and enjoy activities they once cherished.

As a token of gratitude for their service, we provide Assistance Dogs to qualified Veterans at absolutely NO cost. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of these deserving individuals.

Current Projects/Needs:
We are actively seeking volunteers, puppy raisers, and grant writers.  We are looking to enhance our facilities, our plans include adding perimeter fencing to ensure a safe environment for training and play, updating our agility course to provide stimulating activities for the dogs, and renovating the living quarters for Veterans during their team training sessions. These improvements will help us continue to offer top-notch services and support to those we serve.

Our current dog needs include snuffle and lick mats, treat dispensing interactive puzzles, Benebones, Nylabones, leashes, crates, dog food, and dog training treats. These supplies play a vital role in the physical and mental well-being of our canine companions, helping them stay engaged, healthy, and happy as they work alongside our clients.
Furthermore, we rely on donations of old newspapers, towels, toilet paper, linens, blankets, and cleaning supplies to maintain a clean and comfortable   environment for both our four-legged friends and the individuals we serve.
Your support is crucial in helping us empower individuals with impairments and support Veterans in leading independent lives. Together, we can make a positive impact and give  “A Leash to A New Adventure” to those who rely on our services. Let’s make a positive impact together!

Thank you for considering how you can help.
