Every Child Deserves Safety, Healing, and Justice

At the Warren County Children’s Advocacy Center (WCCAC), we stand with child victims of abuse, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to heal. We bring together professionals from law enforcement, child welfare, medical care, and mental health services to minimize trauma and maximize hope for children in crisis.

But we can’t do it alone.

Children come to WCCAC at one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Here, they find a safe space where they can tell their story, be heard, and begin their healing journey. Through forensic interviews, advocacy, counseling referrals, and Tiger, our beloved Facility Dog, we help children feel supported every step of the way.

Tiger is specially trained to provide comfort and reduce anxiety for children during forensic interviews and court proceedings. His calming presence helps children feel safe enough to share their experiences—an essential step toward justice and healing.

Current Project: Bringing Medical Care Closer to Home

When a child has experienced abuse, a medical exam isn’t just a check-up—it’s reassurance that their body is safe, validation that what happened to them matters, and the first step toward healing. Right now, children in Warren and Forest counties must travel long distances for these critical exams, adding stress to an already traumatic experience.

Your donation will help us establish local, trauma-informed medical services—so children get the compassionate, expert care they need, right here in our community.

Your Gift = Their Lifeline

WCCAC is an independent nonprofit. We don’t receive automatic funding. Every service we provide—every child we help—is because of donations from people like you.

$10 helps provide comfort items for a child who just endured an interview.
$50 helps fund advocacy services for a family navigating the court system.
$100 brings us closer to launching local medical exams for abused children.
$250 supports Tiger’s work, helping children feel safe and supported.

When you give to WCCAC, you’re giving a child a chance to heal.
