The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army has had a presence in Warren County for over 120 years and traditionally offers programs to the community at a low or no cost. Over the past year we have served 15,183 meals, 3,013 snacks distributed 1,379 clothing items, 3,255 toys to the community and surrounding area in Warren County. Throughout the summer we were able to host a Summer Day Camp for 70 youth in the community and could send 20 youth to an overnight residential Salvation Army called Camp Allegheny in Ellwood City.

Current Projects/Needs:
We are looking to enhance and expand our outreach and Back-to-School programs. This includes a revitalization of the Troops program, and Music Program that are offered at The Salvation Army, as well as establishing and operating a new program called TSA Outdoors. This program offers education in outdoor activities, such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Fishing and much more.
