More Matching Dollars Pledged!
Warren Gives 2024 is underway, the Community Foundation of Warren County is pleased to announce the following sponsors for this year’s event on May 15th. This year our match pool is $70,000.00
Bett’s Foundation, Community Foundation, Calvert-Pearson Insurance, Crossett, DeFrees Family, Ellwood, McComas Charitable Fund, Northwest Charitable Foundation, Sara Sokolski Memorial Fund, Superior Tire and Rubber, and United Refinery.
“We are very pleased with the response so far to this year’s request for matching funds,” noted Mark King, Executive Director of the Foundation. “In the early years, our pool of matching funds was $25,000. As the event has grown, we have been able to keep pace with the growth of the matching fund’s pool.”
This year Warren Gives will enable over 100 local non-profit organizations to raise funds between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. The Foundation will also allow checks received between May 1 and May 13 to count toward the event, if a check acceptance form accompanies the check. This form may also be obtained by contacting the Foundation office at (814) 726-9553.
Last year the Foundation distributed $737,199 to participating organizations. “We are amazed at the generosity of the people of Warren County.
