Warren Gives 2021

Was another Record-Breaking Year

The Community Foundation is pleased to announce another great year for
Warren Gives, held last year on Wednesday, May 19. The 100 participating
organizations raised a total of $731,792.71 an increase of over 12% from the total of $648,232 raised in 2020.

The total includes $60,000 in matching funds donated by the Community
Foundation, DeFrees Family Memorial Fund, Elwood National Forge, Betts Foundation, Crossett, Northwest Charitable Foundation,  Lasher Foundation, McComas Charitable Fund, Sara Sokolski Memorial Fund, Superior Tire and Rubber, and United Refining Company.

The event recorded 5,832 donations from 1821 donors. The average
donation was $115.19, though donations ranged from $10 to $7,000. On average, each donor contributed to three organizations. All participating organizations received donations.

“We are grateful for the outpouring of support for non-profit organizations
serving Warren County,” commented John Lasher, Executive Director of the
Community Foundation. “After last year we were not sure what to expect, but people are so aware of the needs in Warren County and used Warren Gives to support our local organizations. Their generosity is amazing!”

Next year’s Warren Gives Event is to be held on May 18, 2022.
