Warren Gives 2022

Was another Record-Breaking Year

The Community Foundation is pleased to announce another great year for
Warren Gives was held on Wednesday, May 18. The 101 participating
organizations raised a total of $732,229.

The total includes $60,000 in matching funds donated by the Community
Foundation, DeFrees Family Memorial Fund, Elwood National Forge, Betts Foundation, Crossett, Northwest Charitable Foundation, McComas Charitable Fund, Sara Sokolski Memorial Fund, Superior Tire and Rubber, and United Refining Company.

The event recorded 5,573 donations from 1720 donors. The average
donation was $115.19, though donations ranged from $10 to $30,000. On average, each donor contributed to three organizations. All participating organizations received donations.

“We are grateful for the outpouring of support for non-profit organizations
serving Warren County,” commented Robert Kaemmerer, Executive Director of the
Community Foundation. “After last year we were not sure what to expect, but people are so aware of the needs in Warren County and used Warren Gives to support our local organizations. Their generosity is amazing!”

Tentatively Next year’s Warren Gives Event is to be held on May 10, 2023.
