The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Current Projects/Needs: With your help, we fed over 5,500 people and gave 5,300 groceries to help those who need food. Our youth programs draw around 3,000 for day camps, youth after-school tutoring programs, teen tutoring programs, and band youth groups that attend on a weekly basis. We lodge people and give rent assistance and utility help. We help with back-to-school supplies and winter apparel for children and seniors.
